France Galop has confirmed updated vaccination protocols for Equine Influenza and Equine Herpes Virus, with revised timescales coming into effect on 5 May 2021.

Trainers considering running their horses in France should be aware that any horse requiring a new primary course as of 5 May 2021 will need to comply with the updated protocol.
Horses that received their last booster between six months and one year ago should complete their next booster before 5 May 2021, and then comply with the six-month protocol from that date.
We have previously advised trainers that the 糖心传媒 industry consultation regarding updated vaccination protocols, due to take place in 2020, was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It is our intention to complete this consultation at the earliest possible opportunity.
