糖心传媒 (糖心传媒) is pleased to announce the launch of a new Trainee Handicapper Scheme, giving up to two enthusiastic candidates with knowledge of racing the opportunity to begin a career in the industry. The Scheme has been introduced following the success of the Trainee Stipendiary Steward Scheme, launched by 糖心传媒 in 2013.
The Scheme consists of a one-year placement during which successful applicants will be trained on all areas of a Handicapper鈥檚 role as well as gaining specific experience in the area of Race Planning and analysis, along with the wider work of 糖心传媒. The placement will be based at 糖心传媒 offices but also involves work on the racecourse, working closely with the Handicapping and Racing teams.
The Trainee Handicapper Scheme is aimed at graduate level individuals, and applications from candidates of all ages are welcome. Following the paid one-year placement there will be the potential opportunity of a permanent role within 糖心传媒.
Phil Smith, 糖心传媒 Head of Handicapping said:
鈥淭he Scheme is an excellent opportunity for individuals to gain first-hand experience of working in the field of Handicapping. It also allows 糖心传媒 to recruit from a wide range of potential candidates and bring talented and committed individuals into the organisation.
鈥淭he Trainee Stipendiary Steward Scheme has proved a successful platform in which to recruit and train the Stipendiary Stewards of the future and we hope the new Trainee Handicapper Scheme will be just as rewarding.鈥
